NIMFA

CUCT member Geoff Ward writes: Just a quick note to say that we took our boat ‘NIMFA’ through the tunnel yesterday.
She is a 35ft Colecraft and “just” fitted after removal of the stove chimney and also the water heater chimney. On the trip through to Froghall, there was about 3 “ clearance and I was on my knees as I steered. We filled up with water once through the tunnel so the trip back was a touch easier with a little more clearance.
Attached are 2 photos – I of when we got through and the other I took (whilst kneeling) along the boat when in the middle of the tunnel.
